Jesus Tamez

Visitation will be from 4pm – 8pm with a service beginning at 6:30pm with Danny Escobar and Garnet Jackson officiating at Calvary Hill Chapel in Dallas, Tx. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 29th at 10am at Calvary Hill Cemetery with Pastor Frank Diaz officiating.

Jesus was born in San Juan Texas to Moises and Guadalupe Tamez on October 15, 1938. He married Cruz Ochoa on September 18th, 1957 in Bay City Texas. He was involved in the Dallas County Sheriff’s Posse. He loved fishing and hunting and spending time with the familia and taking care of his horses and farm animals. He loved playing the accordion and dancing with his beautiful wife. They were always first on the dance floor.

Jesus is preceded in death by his loving wife, Cruz Ochoa Tamez, his parents, sisters Amelia Escobar, Angelita Zavala, brothers, Ray Tamez, Noe Tamez. Grandson Christopher Tijerina.

Jesus is survived by his seven children, Sylvia and Domingo Sanchez, Cathy and Bill Parker, Jesse and Tracy Tamez, Lupe Tamez, Kenneth Tamez, Yolanda and Robert Weyrick, Cindy and Gary Michel. Sister Aurelia Molina and brothers, Ruben and Josie Tamez, Moises and Berta Tamez, Roy and Norma Tamez. Grandchildren, Stephanie Ortega, Jeremy Parker, Leigh Parker, Courtney Hart, Erica Jackson, Alex Torres, Katlyn Tamez, Andrew Haney, Jacob Weyrick, Samantha Michel, Cameron Tamez, Hayden Michel, Gabby and Santanta Cobio. 20 Great-Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lupe Tamez, Stephanie Ortega, Jeremy Parker, Andrew Haney, Jacob Weyrick and Hayden. Michel Honorary Pallbearer Santana Cobio
