Jimmie Ann Robinson

Jimmie accepted Christ early in life under the leadership of Reverend Tyler Carter at Caver Heights Baptist Church located in Dallas Tx. Jimmie served in different ministries such as Choir, Nurses Guild, Deaconess ,and Hospitality committee. She later joined Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, under the pastoral of the late Dr. Karry D. Wesley. She continued to serve until her health failed.

Jimmie was formally educated in Dallas,Tx graduating from James Madison High School. She attended Red Rock Community College of Nursing program where she received her nursing degree.

Jimmie begin her nursing career at Parkland Hospital. She later started working at the Women’s Clinic of Dallas OB/GYN doctors Powell, Watkins and Prince. She continued in private practice with Dr. Watkins and retired after 20 years of dedicated service.

Jimmie fell in love and married Ray Brewer. To this union two children. Ray Brewer 3rd daughter Phyllis Brewer(Boyd) Birdsong.

She became a stepmother to Temesia (Mimi) Heath). In 2005, she later married the love of her life, Nathaniel Robinson.

Jimmie was preceded in death by her Son Ray Brewer 3rd ; parents William (VeraMae)Robinson;husband Nathaniel Robinson, her siblings, Irene Robinson, Luvenia James-Holmes, Donnie Winfield, William Robinson, Betty Asberry, Ida Mae Williams and Desa Mae Starling.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: Daughter Phyllis (Boyd) Birdsong; stepdaughter Temesia (Margo) Heath-King. Grandchildren: Brandon Johnson, Ashli (Dominique) Wooten, step grandson Chris (Iddy) Kennedy. Five great grandchildren: Kayleigh, Kynsleigh, Ariana, Emily, and Niqo . Brothers: Willie Criddle, Robert(Janice) Robinson and Lure (Cassandra)Robinson and Brother n law Richard Asberry. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

A visitation for Jimmie will be held Friday, September 5, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L., Dallas, TX 75232. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, 7550 S Hampton Rd, Dallas, TX 75232. A committal will occur Monday, September 8, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Laurel Land Mem Park - Dallas, 6300 S. R.L. Thornton Frwy., Dallas, TX 75232.
