Jimmy was born Jimmy Lee Benedetto at Baylor Hospital on January 15, 1963 to Vito and Angelina Benedetto. He attended Lakewood Elementary, JL Long, and Woodrow Wilson High School, where he graduated in 1982. Jimmy was proudly a life-long resident of Lakewood, serving the community through his small business, I Love Lakewood Lawncare, and was often referred to as Mr. Lakewood! He was active in his son's education, holding several PTA officer positions at his son's schools and eventually being honored as a lifetime PTA member.
Jimmy was small in stature, but had a heart as big as Texas. When friends asked for ANYTHING, Jimmy did not know the word "No." Whether it was to bring you gas when you ran out, pull your car out of a ditch, move furniture, or sit with you at the hospital while you recovered, he was always there. And so it was, in his hours of need, all those lives he touched came back to serve him, and it is beautiful!
Jimmy is survived by his Wife of 23 years, Kristine; Son Dominick; Sisters Sandy Wilkinson and husband John, and Mary Dice and Husband Tim; Brother Dale Dodson; Sisters-in-laws Kelly Bailey and fiance Ronnie, Sandy Benson and husband Brian, and Heather Sibol and Partner Michael; Brother-in-law Randy Cason and wife Treasa; Father-in-law Jim Letien and Mother-in-law Elaine Letien; Numerous neices, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends.
He will be welcomed into heaven by his father Vito Benedetto, mother Angelina Benedetto, Step-Mother Gloria Benedetto, brother-in-law Kenneth Letien, and a slew of aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and friends.
