Joe Edward Dominy, 91, was born in Teague, Texas. He graduated from Mexia High School and Sam Houston University. After serving in the Army in Korea, he spent most of his career in the food packaging business.
Joe married Mary Lou Polansky in Caldwell, Texas in 1960. They were blessed with three sons. Son Steve (Sandi), their two daughters, Anna (Jake) Rozier and baby Rachel in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Missionary Jill in Düsseldorf, Germany and son Preston in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Son Chris lives in Ft. Worth, Texas. Son Gil (Belinda) and their three sons, Pace, Parker and Paxton live in Lakeway, Texas.
He is also survived by his sister in law Betty Cox.
Joe was filled with love for his family.
A visitation for Joe will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. A mass of Christian burial will occur Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery North Chapel, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joe's memory may be made to St. Mary of Carmel Catholic Church, 2900 Vilbig Road, Dallas, Texas 75212 US.
