

Joe graduated from Roswell High School in Brownsville, Texas. He then attended Southmost College, Fort Worth Christian College, and graduated from Abilene Christian College. Joe worked as a hospital administrator in the Dallas area, as well as an accountant for T-RamZ Energy, Or-tech, Great Western Press, and he was currently working at Southwest Moulding.
He was a member of the Church of Christ. Joe loved photography, computers, sports, collecting memorabilia, and most importantly, his grandson.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife, DaNell Mitte; parents, Dale and Mamie Mitte; brothers, Roy Mitte and Dale Mitte; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dalton and Nellie Porter.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories one daughter, Morgan Mitte-Haley and her husband David Haley; grandson, Kayden Mitte; sisters, Susan Mitte and Judy Merrick; brother, Charles Mitte; brother-in-law, Gordon and his wife Judy Porter; sister-in-law Nila and her husband Jerry Houser; niece, LaNell Huffman; nephews, Jerad Houser and Ferguson Porter; and many other loving relatives and friends. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.
