

Joe Little Pearce was a native Texan born on November 11, 1928. Joe will be remembered as a devoted and caring husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Joe is survived by wife Barbara Ann Pearce, son Randy Pearce and wife Shelley Harrison, daughter Teri Pearce and husband Dr. Kenneth Cantrell, son Gary Pearce and wife Deanna Pearce, granddaughter Lindsay Rees and husband Kyle Rees, grandson Parker Pearce, and great granddaughter Kyndall Rees, who were all dear to him.
Joe had an extensive career as an active State Farm agent in the Casa Linda area for over 56 years from 1960 to present. During this time he achieved his CLU in 1979, and earned various awards including the Millionaire Club and Legion of Honor.
Joe was active in his community, donating to multiple charities and Dallas organizations. He was a member of Eastridge Park Christian Church. Joe was part of the Garland Citizen Police Academy and was a White Rock Toast Masters Best Speaker three time winner.
Joe was an avid bicyclist, logging over 75,000 miles and he rode across Texas and Oklahoma. He received the Presidential Sports Award in Bicycling in 1974 by Richard Nixon, recognizing his participation in bicycling and commitment to an active life.
He will be remembered for his love and dedication to his family, employees, and community.
A Viewing will be held at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, on Saturday, July 1, 2017 from 11am-12pm, with a Funeral Service to follow at 12pm. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
