Joe Lupe Ramirez

Joe was a larger than life man whose spirited laugh complimented his generous nature.

Trophy hunting and fishing were past times he enjoyed with his sons and grandchildren. A wood craftsman of notable talent and a man with impeccable taste.

Joe was born on October 18, 1939 in Dallas, Texas, preceded in death by his parents Guadalupe and Ninfa (Nunez) Ramirez.

He married Shirley Runyan on December 2, 2000. She survives at their home in Grand Prairie.

He is also survived by two sons: Joe Michael, Sr. (Traci) Ramirez of Dallas, Texas and John Marcus (Alma) Ramirez of Mansfield, Texas. One daughter: Cindy (Mark) Wakeley of Keller, Texas.

Grandchildren: Joe Michael, Jr., Savannah, Sabrina, Sophia, Samantha, Joe Marcus, John Marcus II, Victoria, David, Julie, and Robert (deceased).

Great Grandchild: Alec.

Brothers: Raul, Robert, Philip Ramirez.

Sisters: Irma Tapia, Anita Sanino.

Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel, located at 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220.

The rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Joe will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, located at 2800 Valwood Parkway, Farmers Branch, Texas, 75234.

Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
