John Arthur Vasquez

John graduated from Sunset High School in 1977. He then attended El Centro College and obtained his Associates Degree. He later married his soulmate, Maria Castillo.

John was a great man. He was the life of the party. He made friends everywhere he went. He was proud of his hometown and shared many memories with everyone he crossed paths with. He was a great husband and father. He supported his wife and daughters in everything they did.

He always put Christ first in his life and this devotion to Christ is also shared by his family. He will be forever missed but John knew Christ as his Savior and has a home in Heaven with Him.

He is survived by his daughters, Marissa Ruiz ( married to Jordan Ruiz) & Sarah Herrera (married to Alberto Herrera); Grandson; Ryan Ruiz; God daughter Valerie Castillo; sisters Rosa Gonzalez and Sylvia Duron & numerous nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Isabel Rodriguez and, the love of his life Maria C. Vasquez.
