Johnny was born on August 12, 1944 in Meridian, Mississippi, to Roy Kenneth Morgan and Willie Jean Shields Morgan.
After graduating from High School, Johnny served in the U. S. Air Force. Upon being discharged, he began to work as an insurance adjustor and continued with that profession for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Mary Joyner.
He is survived by his brother Roy Morgan and wife Erika of Yukon, OKlahoma; nieces Carrie Morgan of Dallas, Texas, Erika Ann Whiteman and her husband Dan also of Dallas, Texas; and two great-nephews Morgan and Mason Whiteman of Dallas, Texas.
No services are planned for Johnny at this time as he will be going back to Nebraska for interment at the Wyuka Funeral Home and Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska.
