Jose Cruz Fernandez Longoria, born on June 4, 1969, in Mexico, passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 56. Jose was a beloved, brave, and cherished individual who was known for being compassionate, devoted, humorous, hard-working, adventurous, and kind-hearted.
He was a resident of Dallas, Texas, where he lived a life full of love and dedication to his family. Jose is survived by his wife, Isabel Fernandez, and their children: daughter Biatris Fernandez, son Jose Jr., and daughter Graciela Fernandez. He also leaves behind his sons-in-law, Jose Estrada and Jose Reynaldo Muniz, and daughter-in-law, Ricarda Nieves. Jose was a proud grandfather to Maria Luz Estrada, Marisol Muniz, Irenio Estrada, Yahir Estrada, Jose Estrada Jr., Athan Estrada, Cristobal Muniz, Issac Muniz, and Luna Muniz.
He is also survived by his father, Irenio Fernandez, and his siblings: brothers Tomas, Manuel, and Pedro, and sisters Petra and Estela.
Jose had a passion for soccer and enjoyed spending time watching Facebook, where he found joy and connection.
