Mr. Jose Jesus Tinajera

Jose Jesus Tinajera, 75, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. He was born in Ocampo, Guanajuato Mexico to Victor Tinajera and Dominga Trujillo on May 27, 1943. He married Maria Guadalupe Del Campo on May 15th 1965 in Ocampo, Guanajuato Mexico. He immigrated to the United Sates in 1975 and worked as a landscaper until he retired. He is preceded in death by his father Victor Tinajera, mother Dominga Trujillo and sister Maria Tinajera Trujillo.

Jose Jesus Tinajera is survived by his wife Maria Guadalupe Tinajera. Children, Irma Tovar and spouse Felipe Tovar , Ismael Tinajera and spouse Frances Tinajera , Juan Ignacio Tinajera and spouse Veronica Tinajera, Maria Hernandez and spouse Jose Hernandez, Lupita Mendoza and spouse Abel Mendoza, Maria Del Rosario Tinajera and spouse Raul De Leon, Graciela Tinajera, Sylvia Rodriguez and spouse Jose Rodriguez. Along with Grand-children, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family acknowledges and wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all of the UT Southwestern team of doctors, nurses and staff in Oncology, Radiology, Pallative Care, Emergency Care Doctors and Compass Hospice of Dallas who took great care of him and we were blessed with more time with him.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Laurel Land Funeral Home and the Rosary will begin at 4:30 pm Sunday January 27, 2019.

Mass will be held at 10:00 am Monday, January 28, 2019 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located at 231 N. Marsalis Ave., Dallas, Texas 75203. Burial will follow at Laurel Land Funeral Cemetery, 6000 R L Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75232.
