

In loving memory of our dear mother,Juana Alicia Cordero Dominguez, passed away peacefully at her home May 14,2025, at the age of 79. Alicia was born June 24,1945 and raised at Cerritos De Zavala, San Luis Potosi to Petra Rodriguez and Gregorio Cordero. She was married to Jose Angel Rodriguez and then to Valentin Dominguez. Alicia is survived by her four daughters: Viola Rodriguez, Elma Rodriguez, Cynthia Dominguez-Soria and Cristina Jaime; her nine grandchildren: Alexis Gonzalez and Logan Gonzalez, Isabella Cunningham and Sabine Cunningham, Valerie Galaviz and Emiliano Jaime, Khloe Jaime, Abraham Jaime and Penelope Jaime; her brother, Salomon Cordero; her sisters: Porfiria Cordero Martinez and Alicia “Amelia” Cordero Rodriguez; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Also included as family would be her very close and dear friends, neighbors and co-workers who all held a special place in her life.
Alicia was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother who always put the needs of her family first. She was kind, smart, creative and determined. She was a pillar of strength and resilience to her family. In her spare time she enjoyed taking care of her garden. As an avid lover of plants and flowers, she loved her job at I Love Flowers and then Central Market. She enjoyed taking trips to explore new places and enjoyed cooking for her family. Her kitchen was the gathering place for special celebrations and family memories. She loved and adored her grandchildren and loved to see them at their school activities. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving mother, grandmother, caring friend and faithful believer in Christ.
