Julia “Judy” Morris Bell was born on March 4, 1922, in Ripley, Tennessee. She was the daughter of John and Mary Ellen Morris and had 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Julia met her husband, Sam Bell, in Memphis, Tennessee. Sam and Julia lived in Pennsylvania, then relocated to Dallas, Texas, to raise their family. Julia passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021, surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her son, Al Bell, her grandaughters Jennifer Erwin, Terri Morgan, Karen Jordan and their children. Julia was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Sam Bell, and her daughter, Kathy Geisel. Julia led a life filled with love, faith, and family. Julia was a devoted wife, loving mother, doting grandmother, steadfast sister and loyal friend. She was a fantastic cook, an avid reader and a sewing enthusiast. Julia leaves a legacy of love and excellence to all who knew and loved her.
Julia’s memorial service will be at Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home in Dallas on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 3:00 p.m.
