Mr. Wright, the son of Gerald Wright and Martha Nohe, was born September 19, 1960, in Paris, Texas. Kenneth was a board-certified Master Plumber who was a driving force of success behind the scenes at Fair Park. He served as a City of Dallas employee before joining the State Fair of Texas in 2009, contributing three decades of dedicated service to celebrating all things Texas. Kenneth was widely known and liked across Fair Park, with some considering him as recognizable as Big Tex himself. He always shared stories about his family and his many years at Fair Park. Kenneth was also a car enthusiast who loved fishing, shooting, boating, 4-wheeling and going on many other adventures with his friends in the great outdoors.
Kenneth is survived by his step-mother, Sandra Wright; ex-wife, Lynda Corbin; daughter, Amber Bond (and husband Kenneth); grandchild Dexter Bond; brother Russell Wright (and wife Jana) and sister Melissa Wright (and husband John); his aunt Mary Evelyn Smith; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews plus a whole host of extended family and friends.
