She attended Burbank High School in Sacramento, CA where she participated in Cheer and Dance.
In December of 1993, LaKitha welcomed her first child into the world and began
her journey of motherhood. Between the years of 1993 - 2011, LaKitha was blessed with 5 beautiful children.
Throughout her life, LaKitha faced challenges and hardships with courage and always came out on top. Lakitha had a love for life and a love for family. She loved social media trends and would sometimes see different recipes that she would try because she loved to cook. The term “We dem boys” would often be said by her because she was a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan. Lakitha enjoyed living life to the fullest.
LaKitha was preceded in death by her grandfather Roy Ray in 2010, her grandmother Helen Ray in 2021, her son Deonte’ Royal in 2021, her mother Gwendolyn Hooks in 2024, and her canine son Major in 2024.
LaKitha is survived by her father Raymond Royal, her four children, son Davonte Stinson, and three daughters Kashe Holliday, Mia Royal and Stevie Carr. Three Siblings brother Raymond Royal and sisters Tenecia Royal, and Myesha Dennis,
along with 3 grandchildren.
LaKitha will forever be in our hearts.
