Born October 17, 1940 in Dallas, TX and passed away September 25, 2016 in Waxahachie, TX. Preceded in death by her husband, Willard Anderson; father, Luke Allan Walker; mother, Charlyne Wingfield Walker; and brother-in-law, Dennis Seals. Survived by her sons, David Allan Hawkins of Garland; Damon Thomas Hawkins & wife Linda of Anadarko, OK.; six grandchildren, Mathew, Emily, Troy, and Anna Hawkins all of the Garland Area; Joshua and Justine Hawkins from Anadarko, OK.; four great-grandchildren; sister, Lanice Walker Seals of Waxahachie, TX.; niece Laura Rumer and husband Steve of Whitney, TX.; nephews Kevin Seals and Jeannie of Waxahachie, TX.; Kyle Seals and wife Sandra of Waxahachie, TX.; seven great nieces and nephews and eight great-great nieces and nephews. Lana was a graduate of James Bowie Elementary School, W. H. Adamson High School and attended Arlington State College, now the University of Texas at Arlington. She moved to Garland in 1970 where she bought a house and raised her two sons. She worked at the Western Auto Distribution Center for many years in the advertising department and was later a substitute at the Garland ISD.
