It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larry Dean Christian, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who left this world on December 22, 2024. He was 67 years old and is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia Rodriguez, his mother, Mary Christian, two sisters, Crissa Tipton, Denise Christian and three adult children, Marcus Dean Christian, Jakob Christian and Courtney Brown.
Larry was a man of many passions. A true culinary enthusiast, Larry found joy in cooking, often experimenting with new recipes and flavors. Meals prepared by him were not just sustenance; they were gatherings of laughter and love, where family and friends felt the warmth of his generous spirit. His love for fast and classic cars was evident in every polished chrome and roaring engine that graced his garage and the auction block. He spent countless hours moving his cars, relishing the thrill of speed and the beauty of automotive design. Beyond his automotive interests, he was an avid collector of coins and Coca-Cola memorabilia. His collection was a testament to his fascination with history and nostalgia, and he often shared stories behind each piece, captivating family and friends alike. As a businessman and entrepreneur, he embraced challenges with grit, determination and creativity. He was not only a role model for his children in business but also an inspiration for anyone who dared to pursue their dreams. Larry's vibrant spirit and infectious laughter will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on January 12, 2025 at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. The family invites all who knew him to celebrate his life and share in the joy he brought to so many.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Texas Women’s Foundation, in Larry’s honor, reflecting his family’s love for community and giving back. Rest in peace, dear Larry. Your legacy of love, passion, and adventure will live on in our hearts forever.
