

Larry King Heitman passed away on January 13th, 2025. He was 74 years old. Larry was born on October 12th, 1950, in Dallas Texas to Henry and Ione Heitman. Larry was preceded in death by his Mother Ione Heitman, Father Henry Heitman, and sister-in-law Robyn Perkins.
Larry is survived by his wife Debra Heitman (Athens, Texas), Daughter Jodie Pierce and Husband Joe Pierce (Boswell, Oklahoma, Grandsons Henry Livley (Boswell, Oklahoma) and Trenton Pierce (Boswell, Oklahoma) Great Grand Daughter Malliee Jo Pierce (Boswell, Oklahoma), Sister Sherry Cathey (Corsicana, Texas), Brother-in-Law Danny Perkins (Mabank, Texas). He is also survived by Numerous Nieces and Nephews, Friends, Vietnam veterans and Hungry Heights Kids.
Larry was raised in Oak Cliff Texas, also known as Hungry Heights. Larry took pride in his childhood neighborhood and time in the service. Larry enjoyed a long career as a truck driver. He loved to keep everyone in touch and make sure the neighborhood kids and Vietnam Buddies stayed in contact. If you wanted to know something about the good ole days he was the one to ask. His memory was always on point. His hobbies included fishing, Hungry Heights Reunions and most of all anything relating to Hank. If you knew Larry then you knew Hank, directly or indirectly.
Larry was a caring Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle and Friend. As family would tell you he was stubborn and onery but had a heart of gold. He loved to play jokes on friends and always made you laugh.
He will be extremely missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
