Larry Bernard Williams was born August 21, 1959 in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Louis Bernard Williams and Charlene Williams, both who preceded him in death. Raised in Dallas, Larry was educated in the Dallas Independent School District with the completion of his education commencing at Franklin D. Roosevelt High School. After high school, Larry entered the workforce and eventually setting in on a career as a skilled residential construction foundation carpenter for over 20 years with Carter Construction.
If you ever came in contact with Larry, you were sure to always remember him somehow. He was sure to do something that was gonna make him unforgettable. For the family, seeing him laying on the couch in the den at 1923 Danube Drive, awaiting dinner to be finished by his mother Charlene was a normality. Hearing the comedic exchanges between the two of them daily was worth the price of an admission.
Larry enjoyed having a good time. Play some Isley Brothers and watch him cut a step, moving nothing but arms, hips and knees slowly. He was often the life of family functions. He was a free hearted man, although kids in the family all experienced him giving them a dollar or two and minutes later come asking for it back. He enjoyed cooking as well. He could create magic from a 5 lbs sack of potatoes.
"It is the law of our humanity that man must know good through evil. No man ever progressed to greatness and goodness but through great mistakes."
Larry leaves to mourn in his absence four sisters, Helen F. Carter, Cindy K. Richards (James), Felicia A. Foster, and Diane Williams-Larkins (Ray). A host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews, great-great nieces & nephews, extended family members and friends will join in the mourning. His memory will live on as he left an indelible impression on many throughout his walk on earth.
There will be days when we will yearn for your presence won't be possible and it will make us sad with the realization that your physical presence and it will make us sad with the realization that your physical presence won't be possible anymore. But always remember that you live in our hearts. Rest in peace Larry Bernard Williams.
