I can't be there, but could say something for me.
It's hard to find words to express how much I will miss you, especially now, after losing my mother only two months ago. You stepped into a role that no one else could have, becoming a surrogate mother in  a way that brought so much comfort during a difficult time. I will forever cherish the stories you shared about my Grandma and Mom., tales that painted a vivid picture of their lives.
Your encouragement to continue Mom's legacy, despite the pain, has been a guiding light. I am grateful for your guidance and I love you more!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. We worked together and we looked out for each other. I will definitely miss a charismatic smile and her kind heart.

I did not have the blessing of knowing Ms. V for very long but in the short time I did get to know her I was impressed with her kindness. Even when I could see that she was hurting physically her kind spirit lifted me. I left our conversations with a smile on my face and a more positive attitude. She truly was a light that shone brightly and beautifully. She will be missed, My condolences to her loved ones

Condolences to Ms. V and family.  I was heartbroken by the news I received this morning.  I am thankful for her grace and fun spirit.  We shared some fun times and laughter.  I enjoyed our many talks about family, the catering business, and her love for Jamaican food.   Rest in peace.  Bless up.

In the short amount of time that I got to get to know Ms. V at the Garland Alternative Education Center, it was always a pleasant experience. She said what she meant and meant what she said! Ms. V wasn't ever shy about sharing her stories and advice. I appreciate that. She had a  kind and giving spirit, and was always willing to assist whenever asked. I will also fondly remember her gorgeous smile and laughter the most. She loved to laugh! Take your rest, Queen! You will be truly missed! I give my condolences and prayers to the family during this difficult time.

Ms. V as we called her at GAEC was a lovely lady. She would do anything to help you. She made the most beautiful and creative bulletin boards. She was KIND!
I will miss her smiling face and warm morning greeting!

Not often in life do you meet a person and in a short time frame you can call them friend.  That is how it was for Mrs. V and me.  Although I  only knew her a short time period, she became my friend.  We shared many laughing moments together.  In addition to the laughter, we learned that we had traveled similar paths during the course of our lives.   A very positive person, who when I only saw the glass half full, she made me see that it was full.  I will miss her dearly, and my prayer to her family is that they will cherish the memories of their mom, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin because with those she will still live on in each of your lives daily.

Latifah  and I meet over 10 years ago. She was a dear friend. The last time I saw her was when we went to see Iyanla Vanzant in person. We had such a great time. I was in shock when I heard of her passing. We would try to keep in such from time to time. She will be truly missed. May Allah forgive her sins and grant her paradise, Ameen.

Thank you, Queen, for everything! You taught us everything you know. There was no mountain to high for you to climb. You are a generational destiny shifter. I would not be me without you. You have always given us everything you had and even what you didn't have. When you were around I always felt as though everything would be okay. Thanks for planting so many seeds of knowledge, wisdom, strength and resilience. You conquered this life and everything you touched. No more working, only peace and rest. You are FREE. My condolences to the family this queen will truly be missed. I remember all the laughter we had together we've cried together we've played together we've learned together. Latifah was always trying to show me something new tell me something that I needed to know it's hard for me to believe that Latifah will not be here in the flesh but she surely will be here in our minds always she's left so many good memories I'm going to miss my friend.
