

She was born in Milford, TX to Arthur & Willie Mae Hines, who was affectionately known as Pa and Ma Hines to pretty much everyone who knew them. LaValle came from a large family, and she loved them dearly, her 5 sisters: Ruby, Ludie Mae, Connie, Lenora, Geneva and Brother A. W. Hines.
Living most of her life in the Dallas, TX area, LaValle had and raised 5 Children: Jack Randolph “Randy” Stocks, Jr., Debbie LaValle Williams, John Arthur Stocks, Wallace Gene Honeycutt, and Michael Wayne Honeycutt, who preceded her in death on May 2, 1987.
LaValle worked in the restaurant and food service field and her final assignment was in customer service in Seagoville, TX. In August of 2005 LaValle became a founding member of Kaufman County Christian Center, where she attended every service until her health began to diminish.
LaValle was known for her outgoing spirit and love for entertaining with big home cooked meals. She was a master seamstress who kept the sewing machine on 24/7. Her favorite time to clean, rearrange or decorate her home was right after midnight while everyone was in bed. She saw after her own and did the best she could in all things.
She’ll be fondly remembered for her auburn hair, bright eyes and living life without the burden of worry. LaValle left a lasting images in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her grandson John Andrew Stocks (son of John & Glenda Stocks), who passed away on November 25, 1985.
She leaved to cherish her memories, her 4 Children: John Stocks (Glenda), Debbie Williams, Randy Stocks, and Wallace Honeycutt; 6 Grandchildren: Raymond Williams (Damaris), Tammy Arnn (Chris), Landon Stocks, Nicole McKechnie (Josh), Elizabeth Honeycutt, and Stephanie Stocks; 7 Great-Grandchildren: Carli Williams, Keven Williams, Bryan Williams, Aleah Williams, Michael Arnn, Teagan McKechnie, Judah McKechnie; her stepchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
LaValle will be interred next to her beloved son, Michael Wayne Honeycutt and deceased husband Edmond Schwab.
