

At a young age Leah accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at St John Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Harold T Branch. She received her high school diploma from Richard King High School, in Corpus Christi. After high school she attended Texas A&I Kingsville and East Texas State University , Commerce.
Leah moved to Dallas in 1978 and worked many years at Southwestern Bell and later at Scottish Rite Hospital. She also lived in Giddings Texas, for a brief period, and was employed with the state of Texas.
She is preceded in death by both parents and her oldest brother, Cecil L Pryor Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory, two children Cecil Robert James Pryor and Tiffany Rae Pryor. Three grandchildren Kaden Pryor, Kadren Pryor-Young, and Kairen Pryor. Two siblings Rundy Pryor (Arnetta Pryor) and Barbara Tatum. Two special cousins Juliet Stewart, Drexel Stewart, and Roderick Stewart. Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
May you rest in peace, Dear Leah. And may your light continue to shine brightly in our hearts, guiding us through the darkness with the warmth of your enduring love and the harmony of the melodies you cherished so dearly. Rest well Leah, we love you!
