She was born July 3, 1935 in Robstown, Texas to Julian Hernandez and Guadalupe Buenrostro. She was a devoted sister, wife and mother. She is survived by her six children; Julia Chavez, Frank Guerrero, Jesse Guerrero, HG Zeigler, Janie Avila, Guadalupe Guerrero and her two brothers, Roy Hernandez and Jimmy Hernandez; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. Visitation and viewing will be held from 10:00 am - 8:30 pm Friday, May 18 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home with a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 pm Saturday, May 19, 2012 in the North Mausoleum Chapel located on the cemtery grounds of CalvaryHill Cemetery.
