Lupe Trevino, the son of Miguel and Rosa Sanchez Trevino, was born in Texarkana, Texas June 10, 1922 and died at his home in Dallas, Friday, December 17th following an illness of one month. He was 88 years of age.
Lupe grew up in Dallas and on Feb 8, 1948, he married Mary Ramirez. A self-employed truck driver, his first priority was that of his family and their welfare. Lupe's talents as a handyman and gardner were well known to his family as well as to others. He also enjoyed and loved the sports of football and boxing.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 20th from 6-9 p.m. at Calvary Hill Funeral Home where services will also be held on Tuesday, December 21st at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Javier Escalera will officiate and burial will follow in the Calvary Hill Cemetery. His sons will serve as pallbearers.
Preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, he is survived by his wife Mary and by four daughters, Margie of Irving, Linda and Marina both of Dallas and Estella of DeSota; six sons, Martin of Duncanville, Rudolph, Daniel, Frank, DaviD and Paul all of Dallas; Seventy grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and two sisters, Aurora Garcia and Mary Sereseros both of Dallas.
