Manny B. Zelzer was born in Chicago on November 20, 1918. He attended Northwestern University. Mr. Zelzer served in the Army Air Corps in the South Pacific during World War II. A true entrepreneur, he developed Texas Select Non Alcoholic Beer, one of the first of its kind, over thirty years ago. Manny was married to the love of his life, Janis, for over 62 years. He is survived by his three daughters: Carol Zelzer, Cathy Zelzer Clark, Martha Zelzer Ralstin; sons-in-law David Clark and Darren Ralstin; granddaughter Kerry Schonwald; grandsons Zachary and Travis Ralstin. Special thanks to his loving caretakers: Felicia Thompson, Tamika White, Amanda Thompson and Helen Smith. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2012 at Temple Emanu-El Olan Sanctuary.
