Manuel Daniel "Dan" Vasquez, 66, passed away on April 17th, 2026. Dan was born in Dallas, Texas to Manuel and Dora Vasquez. He married Laura Vasquez on July 20th, 1979 and was a loving husband for 46 years. He is also survived by his two children, Andrew Vasquez and his partner, Tasha Pearcy, Maggie Vasquez and her partner, Patrick Tyrrell; his grandchildren, Emmie, Sofia, Aurora, and IJ; his sisters, Martha and Yolanda Vasquez; his nieces, Kristina Metrallis, and her partner, Steve, and Elisa Radominski and her partner, Dixie; his nephews, David Smith and his partner, Brittnay, and Josh Smith and his partner Maria, along with many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and great nephews and nieces. He and his father ran Manuel’s Tree and Garden in close partnership with beloved clients throughout Dallas. He was a talented landscape architect, arborist, artist, and friend, who lit up every room he entered. He especially loved painting and swimming, and he danced like nobody was watching. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 27th at 4pm, at Saint Michael’s and All Angels Episcopal church at 8011 Douglas Ave, Dallas, 75225. Memorial donations in Dan’s memory may be directed to the American Heart Association or to a charity of your choice.
