

Marcella Pearson Graham. Born June 3, 1922 in Oilton, Oklahoma the only child to Earl and Ethel Pearson, passed away on October 10, 2014 in Denton, Texas. She attended the University of Tulsa and continued her studies with Carl Friedberg at New York Institute of Art later known as Juilliard School of Music. In 1950, she married the love of her life Scotty Graham. Together they played the music scene in the Dallas area until he passed away. Marcella then worked at Texas Instruments until she retired. Her love for music continued and she often rehearsed and accompanied students in UIL competitions in the local area, and played for various retirement/nursing homes as well as being a proud member of Crossroads Bible Church, playing for church services and special programs. Her other hobbies included word puzzles, teaching music, the Dallas Mavericks, the Dallas Cowboys, the University of Texas, the University of Colorado, and Louisiana State University. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Scotty Graham in 1976. Survivors include: three children, Bob Graham, Kathy Hale, and Barbara Graham; grandchildren, Trevor Hale and fiancée Silvia Boiardi, Scotty Hale and his wife Sherry. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held, 7:00 PM, Tuesday, October 14, 2014, Crossroads Bible Church in Double Oak, Texas. Please visit www.sparkman-crane.com to leave condolences.
