

Margaret Michael “Peggy” Mossinghoff, 73, passed away in her home surrounded by family on July 7th, 2013. Our mother was a wonderful lady both on the inside and out. She was the most caring, thoughtful and loving mother one could have. She will be missed more than words can say.
Peggy was born May 7th , 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri. She received a degree in English from St. Louis University. There she met the love of her life, John. Peggy and John were married for over 50 years, sharing a life full of love. Together they had four children. Peggy was an avid bridge player. She enjoyed playing bridge with her wonderful friends in several groups. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, but, most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, John Mossinghoff of Frisco, Texas, her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and John Compton of Plano, Texas, her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Kristine Mossinghoff of Davidson, North Carolina, her son, Matthew Mossinghoff of Frisco, Texas, her son, Daniel Mossinghoff of Denver, Colorado, and her grandchildren Christopher, Amanda, Alexandra, and Catherine.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 8000 El Dorado Parkway, Frisco, TX 75034 on Friday, July 12th, 2013 at 11:00 am. She will be interred at a private ceremony next to her mother Virginia at the Resurrection Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her name to Jesuit College Preparatory School or All Saints Catholic School. Both are located in Dallas, Texas.
