Margarita Flores Garcia (Mague), 74, of Dallas, Texas, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away on July 26, 2024.
Margarita was born in H. Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico on February 2, 1950, to Medardo Roque Flores Cisneros and Josefina Espitia Galvan. Margarita was married to Juan H. Garcia, Sr on July 11, 1971, they were married 53 years.
Margarita worked as a Machine Operator for El Charrito Frozen Foods for a long time. After the company was sold, she finished her working years at New Option Sports. She enjoyed knitting and crochet. She made many purses, shawls, hats, and ponchos for her family and friends. Additionally, Margarita relished shopping, she was always on the lookout for the perfect pair of shoes to add to her collection.
Margarita’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Her laughter, her love of life, and her ability to make everyone feel cherished will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
Margarita is preceded in death by her father, Medardo Roque Flores Cisneros, her mother, Josefina Espitia Galvan, and brother, Ramiro Flores Espitia.
Margarita is survived by her husband, Juan H. Garica, Sr, daughter, Margarita G. Castaneda (Enrique Castaneda), son, Juan H. Garcia, Jr (Melissa Jimenez), grandson, Enrique Castaneda, Jr, granddaughters, Elizabeth Nicole Castaneda, Madison Avery Castaneda, Bella Star Garcia, Bryce Dallas Garcia, brothers Medardo Flores Espitia, Roque Flores, and sisters Blanca Estela Sequera, Josefina Flores Espitia, and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 4 – 8 PM, with the praying of the Rosary at 6:30 PM, at Calvary Hill Chapel, located at 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, 1 PM, at the Calvery Hill North Chapel, located at 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220. Committal will follow at 2 PM Calvery Hill Cemetery.
