Maria Tristan Herrera 84, passed away March 3, 2013 in Dallas. Maria was born on April 7, 1928 in Mexico to Anastasio Tristan Garcia and Maria Tello de Tristan. A devoted 35 year member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Maria attended the Ladies Rosary Group and the San Franciscan Order. Maria was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Teodoro Herrera; and brother, Juan Tristan Tello. She is survived by her son, Joe L. Herrera; daughter, Juanita Hernandez; grandchildren, Judith C. Hernandez and Joe Chris Herrera; numerous brothers, sisters, other family and friends. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Mass: 12:00 p.m. at Calvary Hill North Mausoleum Chapel Thursday, March 7, 2013, followed by interment at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
