Dr. Marjorie Ann White was born in Waco, Texas February 17, 1923 and passed away September 12, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital in DeSoto, Texas. Dr. White taught in parochial schools in Texas and Oklahoma while she was Sister Mary Cletus White of the Sisters of Divine Providence, San Antonio, Texas. Dr. White received a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Texas in Austin, and was a Chemistry professor at UT in Austin and Mountain View College in Dallas. She was an active teacher and volunteer at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and at Grace Presbyterian Village in Dallas. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 5:30 pm Monday, September 20, 2010 followed by a Memorial Mass at 6:00 pm at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 231 N. Marsalis Ave. Dallas, Texas 75230. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
