Mary Louise Moser Bosworth was born on May 28, 1920 to August Charles Moser Sr. and Catherine Eidt Moser. She was the youngest of 4 children: A.C. Moser, W. Jack Moser, and Anna Catherine Moser Endom. She was a lifelong Dallasite known as “Speedy” to her friends who have preceded her in death and are waiting for her to celebrate in Heaven. To her extended family, she is known as “Memaw”. She was a graduate of Ursuline Academy, class of 1937, and attended the University of Texas in Austin.
Mary Louise was a businesswoman. She managed the rental department of A.C. Mary Louise and Robert were founding members of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She served as a lector, Eucharistic minister, and faithfully visited the sick in nursing homes to distribute Holy Communion. She held various posts in the St. Thomas Aquinas school parent organizations. Always giving to others, Mary Louise most enjoyed serving the Dallas community as a volunteer for the Ladies of Charity, feeding the homeless and helping the poor. In addition, she served her parish through her membership in the St. Thomas Aquinas Altar Society and supported and prayed for the clergy and religious through the Dallas Vocation Guild.
She was forever a loving wife and a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was married to Robert Joseph Bosworth, Jr. for 64 years. Together they raised six children- Mary Elizabeth (Betty) married to Dennis Larkin, Ann Marie married to Richard Gunst, Robert Charles (Bob) married to Janice Hogan Bosworth, Joan Theresa married to Bruce Henley, Stephen Joseph (Steve)married to Jane Stuart Bosworth, and Thomas John (Tom)married to Mary Davis Bosworth.
