Mary Louise Cerda

Born 08/23/1939 -07/26/2020

This beautiful lady was taken from us on July 26th 2020 due to complications from the COVID 19 virus.

Mary is survived by her Husband Joe Cerda and her three children and their spouses. Teresa and Vincent Tovar, Joe Jr. and Beth Cerda and Robert and Hope Cerda. Her Grandkids, Jessica, Vincent Jr., Christina, Shandalyn. And her great grandchildren Alaina, Jaycee, Christopher, Brianna and Johnathon. Her sister Pearl Martinez and her sister in law Nena Munoz, and many more family members and friends. Who also knew her as Tootie.

I don’t know how to say it any other way, except. That she was a Loving, Caring and Fun . She had a way with people, and she never met a stranger. Everywhere she went she made an impression on people. She loved being around her family, it always meant so much to her. She loved to go out on sunny days and shopping at those darn thrift shops. No matter how much she already had. She always seemed to make room for more. Her laugh filled a room as well as her smile. And she was known to throw out some pretty good grito’s now and then. On the day of her passing , she told the nurse to tell her family , she loved them and it was all ok. Even on that day, she wanted to give her family comfort. That’s just the way she was. She is already missed and will forever be missed. But I know she is watching over all of us, because no matter where she is she will always watch over her family. Rest in Peace Mary (Wife) and (Mother) you are free to be young and your life has been renewed thru God. You are in the presence of family members that have preceded you. We will all see you again. Until then we will hold you in our hearts .
