Mary Louisa Gonzalez

Mary was raised in Old City Park, Dallas, Texas and graduated from Thomas Edison High School in 1954. She married Vicente Gomez in 1954 and the couple had ten children. She worked at Fuiikoki American Inc. for more than seven years.

In her spare time, Mary enjoyed music, sports, reading, crossword puzzles, dancing along with being a mother and grandmother.

Her family and friends will always remember her as a generous person, loving mother and grandmother, being a friend to many with a wonderful smile, big laugh and an even bigger heart.

She is preceded in death by Vincent Gomez, Thomas Gomez, Elaina Moreno and Joshua F. Serrato.

She is survived by her children,William Gomez, Ronaldo Gomez, Michael Gomez, Jimmy Santiago Gomez, Lou's Anthony Gomez, Stella Ann Flores, Angelina Gomez, Ignacia Sendejas Gomez; grandchildren, Melissa, Tony, Valerie, Rachel, Selena, Jordan, Vanessa, Michael Jr., Marcus, Marissa, Frankie, Joshua, Angelica, Tiffany, Willie Jr., Elijah, Leonora, Vicent, and Eloina.

A visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247. A rosary will occur Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247. A mass of christian burial will occur Friday, August 30, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Edward Catholic Church, 4014 Simpson St, Dallas, TX 75246. An interment will occur Friday, August 30, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220.
