Mary Jo Riggs

Mary Jo Riggs lived life well. She is remembered as an extraordinary person... a loving wife to James F. Riggs Sr, a devoted mother to Kathy Riggs Rylander and James (Jim) F. Riggs Jr, a second mother to her grandson R. Riggs Rylander, a warm heart to Holly Martin Rylander, and a special friend to many who adored her. As she continues her journey, we will remember her many kind deeds and accomplishments with fond smiles. She will always be near, dear and loved.

Mary Jo and James were a remarkable couple. They are forever soulmates and were successful life and business partners. Their businesses and investments included vast real estate interests, theaters, hospitals, and restaurants including Disney-designed La Tunisia and North Park's London House.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her husband James F. Riggs Sr and son James F. Riggs Jr. She is survived by Kathy Riggs Rylander, R. Riggs Rylander, Holly Martin Rylander, nieces and nephews. As Mary Jo looks over us, she will rest in loving arms.
