Mary Lou was a proud Texan born in Fort Worth and raised in Dallas. She thoroughly enjoyed her years at Forest Avenue High School, graduating in 1945, where she made lifelong friends. Professionally, she spent many years working in the Dallas County Courts system; starting in 1986 as Court Clerk for Judge Gladys M. Shook, Justice of the Peace-Precinct 7, Place 2, Oak Cliff Court Courthouse and retiring in 2006 after 12 years as Lead Court Clerk for Judge Jay Patterson, 101st District Court in Dallas. The Dallas County Bar Association recognized Lou multiple times with their Outstanding Clerk Award. She actively supported her community with positions in several organizations. Lou was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 60 years as well as the Social Order of the Beauceant for more than 50 years.
She lived her life with a deep love for the Lord and for over 30 years was a member of the Kessler Park Baptist Church. Lou was predeceased by her parents James L. and Janie Wilson Malloy, in addition to her three husbands Billie Bryant, G. W. Rollinson, and Joseph Liberto. She is survived by her dear friend, Gloria Hibdon and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the Grove Hill Funeral Home located at 3920 Samuell Blvd., Dallas, TX 75228. Led by Dr. James Harley, the Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. followed by the Memorial Service at 2:30 p.m. Donations may be made in name of Mary Lou Rollinson-Liberto to the Kessler Park Baptist Church, 1139 Turner Ave., Dallas, TX 75208.
