Mary Ann Eason Purdy passed away on December 21, 2014 at the age of 80. Viewing will be held at 10:00 A.M. and Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. on January 3, 2015 at Laurel Land Dallas. She was born on February 2, 1934 in Dallas, TX to Homer and Edna Eason. Ann was known for being strong-willed, hardworking, supportive and always contributing to all aspects of life. She loved her pets (mostly cats) and was a big baseball fan. In Heaven, she is cheering for the Texas Rangers! She was preceded in death by her son, Randle Joseph McCarty and her parents. Those left to treasure her memory are: her son, Dr. Jim McCarty (Dawn); daughter, Kathy Glenn (Greg) of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren: Jennifer Huntington, Elise Jaffo and Andrew Glenn; great grandchildren: Emery Huntington, Andrea Jaffo and Aiden Jaffo; brother, Dan Eason of Lewisville, TX; sister, Alvina Ayers; nephew, Danny Eason III (Lisa); dear friend, Manuel Guerrero (Krista) and many other loving family and friends.
