Mary Vivian Wooldridge, 98, of Plano, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2024. Born April 9, 1926, in New Roads, Louisiana, to Oscar and Ema Leonard, Vivian moved to Dallas where she raised three children: Charles, Claudia, and Charlotte.
A devoted mother and hard worker, Vivian was employed at Pollock Paper Company and Sears & Roebuck Company. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles T. Gumm Jr. and Nolan B. Wooldridge, and sisters Laura and Genavieve.
Vivian is survived by her children, seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She cherished gatherings with family and friends, delighting in sharing home-cooked meals and creating lasting memories with her loved ones.
Memorial services will be held on July 10, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas, with a graveside service to follow at 3 p.m.
