

Born in Huntington, Indiana on March 12, 1937, Maryln and her brother Tom, were raised in Indiana as members of the Catholic Church.
In her youth, Maryln was an accomplished tennis player, which blossomed into her notable love of all sports. Maryln first worked as a nurse before becoming a psychotherapist. She has a special gift for sensing the needs of others.
She later was a teacher at Brookhaven Community College in Farmers Branch, Texas. Maryln was well known for her kindness, wisdom and generous spirit. She taught those around her what it means to love and to appreciate the simple pleasures of nature and life. Her presence and appreciation of even the smallest things allowed her to live life to the fullest.
She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. The example she set has forever enriched the lives of her loved ones. She is survived by her husband, Jim Hirt, her children, Sherrie, Andrea, Tanya, Trevor, Kirk, Trent, Chad and her 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Danette.
