Mavis Lee Schultz, age 69, passed away on January 23, 2015 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born to George and Mavis Stamets in the Dominican Republic. Mavis Lee was raised in Pennsylvania and graduated from North Allegheny High School. She worked as a nurse, and enjoyed the outdoors, music, and sewing. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dr. Alfred J. Schultz Jr., and her brother George Christian Stamets Jr. Mavis Lee is survived by her daughter Tanya Ward and husband Michael, her son Rich Carter and wife Jessica, her sister Suzette Reed and husband Wes, granddaughter Grace Ward, and grandson Jack Ward. Memorials may be made to the Sierra Club.
