Michael Guadalupe Jacinto, Sr., 70, of Dallas, TX, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 9th, 2024, while surrounded by his loving family and friends in his final moments. Michael was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. His passion for life and unwavering spirit will forever be remembered.
Michael was born in Dallas, TX, on December 12th, 1953, to Pete and Rufina Jacinto. He was raised with his 12 siblings in the West Dallas barrio of Los Altos.
Michael married Graciela Gutierrez in April of 1980; they were married 40 years. Together, they were loving parents to Michael Jr., Jeanette, and Richard.
Michael will be remembered for his incredible laugh, storytelling, jokes, and silly antics. He was always the first to offer a warm smile and a kind word. He enjoyed many hobbies, including fishing, hunting, gambling, arts and crafts, cards, and dominoes. His biggest accomplishment was being a family man, wonderful father, and the silliest Grandpa. Michael absolutely adored his family.
Michael is preceded in death by his faithful wife Gracie Jacinto, parents Pete and Rufina Jacinto, sister Juanita Casillas, and brothers Pete Jr., Vincent, and David Jacinto.
Michael is survived by his son, Michael Jr. and wife Christina, daughter Jeanette and husband Ricardo, and son Richard and wife Kimberly. He leaves behind his precious grandchildren Juliet, Cruz, Eliana, Vincent, Rosa, Noemi, and soon to be born grandson Nicholas. Michael is also survived by his sisters Dolores, Geneva, Julia, Yolanda, Rosemary, Virginia, Mary, and Kathleen, as well as numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
