Michael McMillan was born to the parentage of the late Edgar Lee McMillan Sr. and Edwina LaEunice Flowers-McMillan on March 2, 1953, in Dallas, TX. He attended St. Mark’s from the 8th grade until graduating in 1971. Michael was on the honor roll, member of the school newspaper and Chess Club. He also lettered in several sports. Michael went on to attend Southern Methodist University (SMU) where he majored in Pre Medicine.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Bonnie Perry Flowers and Dr. William Knox Flowers, Sr., mother and father, Edwina LaEunice Flowers-McMillan and Edgar Lee McMillan Sr., Aunt Bonnie Madalyn Flowers-McMillan, Uncles and Aunts Dr. William Knox Flowers Jr., Annette Flowers, Dr. Perry James Flowers, DDS, Merle Flowers, double first cousin Bonnie Lynn McMillan and sister Amelia M. McMillan.
He leaves to mourn his passing; son, Michael Carlos McMillan; two brothers, Edgar Lee McMillan, Jr. and Manuel McMillan, Sr. (Gina); double first cousins, Noel McMillan (Deborah) and Dr. Sangokolade Pamela Wynn; first cousins, Perry James Flowers Jr. (Theresa), William Knox Flowers III, Terry Flowers, Christopher R. Flowers (Jana), and a host of family and friends.
