

Rev. Michael W. Randell graduated from Manual High School, Northeastern Sterling Jr. College and Colorado University, where he received a Business Degree. Michael was a track star at Manual High School, where he set state championship records. He also played basketball and football. He moved to Dallas, Texas where he met and united in marriage with his loving wife, Denice Randell. A courtship and marriage of 52 years.
Upon his arrival in Dallas he continued his education at Southern Bible Institute, he received a degree in Theology. He later attended Trinity Valley Baptist College where he received an Associate, Bachelor, and Master Degree in Christian Education. After retiring he continue his education and received a degree in Criminal Justice Basic Criminal Justice and Associate Degree of Applied Science Criminal Justice and Public Safety from Dallas College.
Rev. Michael Randell worked for a major security company in Dallas and was on Ross Perot’s security detail. He was employed as an educator and served as both a teacher and principal for the following school districts. Denver Public Schools, Wilmer Hutchins I.S.D. and Dallas I.S.D. He retired from Lincoln High School (D.I.S.D.). He coached basketball, track, football, and wrestling. He has trained players who advance to the WNBA and NBA, including Chris Bosh.
Rev. Michael Randell hobbies include fishing, playing billiards (pool), dominoes and traveling. He also loved to barbecue, learning from his parents, who owned the East Denver Chicken Inn and the House of Barbecue in Denver, Colorado.
Rev. Michael Randell gave his live to Christ at an early age at Union Missionary Baptist Church in Denver, Colorado. He later established and became the pastor of The Living Word Outreach Bible Church in Dallas, Texas. Later, he was a member and on the ministerial staff of the following churches: True Gospel Missionary Baptist Church (Dallas) under the leadership of the late Pastor Calvin Washington; New Liberty Church of God in Christ (Dallas) under the leadership of Pastor Richard Lacy; and help establish These Are They Community Church (Desoto) under the leadership of the late Pastor, Dr. Willie J. Bolden, as well as New Solomon Church of the Living Word (Dallas) under the leadership of Pastor Madison Edwards.
Those left to cherish his memories are his children: Hysear Randell (Denver, Colorado), Keeley Randell (Denver, Colorado), Jimmy (Tonya) Rowland (Oklahoma), James Randell (Dallas), Derrick Mitchell Randell (Beaumont, California), and Michell (Cale) Rattler (Frisco, Texas), and his grandkids, great grandkids, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Rev. Michael Randell is preceded in death by D.C. Randell (father), Linger N. Randell (mother), David Randell (brother), Robert Don Randell (brother), Normal Kent Randell (brother), Eary Jane Nelson (sister) and Kenneth Morris (son).
