A Memorial Services will be held at Oakview Baptist Church at 1004 S. Story Rd, Irving, TX 75060. He will be cremated at Calvary Hill Funeral Home.
Mike was born in Harrison, Michigan on August 28th, 1954. The son of the late Jean and Donald Mathews. Mike married Reginlind Mathews on September 16th, 1978. He attended Oakview Baptist Church for many years and was a proud Army Veteran.
He was always very compassionate, and humorous with his dad jokes. He brought euphemisms joy to many life's. He loved God and always had a good heart. He was a wonderful husband, great dad and a loving grandfather to his 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Those left to cherish his memory are: his son, Michael Fay with daughter in law, Sara Fay; daughter, Donna Mathews with son in law, Kendrick Murphy; brothers, Fred Mathews and Ward Mathews; and 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Donald Mathews, and his sister, Susan Mathews.
