Devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and dear friend to many. Mildred Davis was born in Oakwood, Texas on March 4th, 1925 to Jeff and Beatrice Davis. Even as a child, Mildred had contagious spirit that touched everyone who knew her. She loved to praise and was a worshiper at heart. She was a charter member of Denley Drive Missionary Baptist Church. Mildred worked for the Dallas Independent School District for over 20 years as a food service technician and retired in 1995. Many affectionately called her “Ms. OakCliff”. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jethro James Davis. Mildred went to be with her Lord and Savior early Saturday morning May 16th, 2015. Her spirit is carried on by her son, Billy Bigger (Carol Ann), sister-in-law Alean Davis, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren,1 great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
