Friday, December 21, 2018 the angel of silence came to take Mildred Idella Ford Blue from a world of sorrow to a place of eternal rest and peace.
Mildred was born February 17, 1945 in Aberdeen, Mississippi to the parents of Plummer and Mildred Idella Ford. She moved to Dallas at the age of 3 years old with her father. She was educated in the Dallas ISD School System and graduated from Lincoln High School. Mildred worked for Texas Instruments for several years later becoming a school crossing guard for DISD.
Mildred accepted Christ at an early age. She loved God with all of her heart and soul. She united with Pleasant Zion Baptist Church where she attended until her health began to fail.
Mildred was married in Holy Matrimony to Wilson Blue,Jr. in 1964. To this union 3 children were born that she loved and adored as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a passion for antique shopping and shooting pool and was a strong individual with a kind heart.
She is preceded in death by parents, 4 sisters Alice, Lella Mae, Melinda and Bernice, 1 brother, Troy.
Mildred leaves to honor her virtuous legacy daughters; Kittle Blue and Sonja Blue, son; Wilson Blue III, sister; Mary Lee Bell. 5 grandchildren, Jared Smart, Wynika Blue, Chamiracle Clark, Byron Blue and Wilson Blue IV. 7 great grandchildren, Jared Jr.,Javanna, Messiah, Terry, Sir King, Shaquille and Jaliyah. 6 sister in laws, 3 brother in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
