Mildred Eloise Manning, born August 23, 1921 in Cropsey Illinois to Harold Van Buren and Ima Mildred Abbey Popejoy. She passed from this life March 11, 2011. She was an Artist and a University Professor. She is survived by her loving family. Daughters: Jill Manning Peterson and Melinda Ramsey; Grandchildren: Eric Manning Pet- erson, Nicholas Albert Peterson, Jack Wayne Ramsey, Liam Robert Ramsey, Catherine Ann Peterson, and Carl Berger Peterson and a Sister: Margery Zander. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 PM Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Edgemere. The family request memorials be made to the American Lung Association in lieu of flowers. Arrangements under the direction of Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, Dallas, TX.
