Millicent Brim Peterson

Nettles and Joseph Peterson, (who preceded her in death). She was

quick-witted, intelligent, caring, loving, a fast study and the best cook

in the world! She absolutely loved to feed people and enjoyed

watching them eat. She was undeniably a Servant-Leader. She

served whenever and wherever she could. She loved the Lord

fervently and served Him that way. She loved her Children, Tari, Trey

and Erika and Grandchildren ferociously and did almost everything

with them. Her oldest Daughter, Tari, was her forever “Sidekick”. Trey

was a Sonshine and Erika her Baby Girl. She never met a stranger

and always left others increased. She served in the U.S. Army, and

received an honorable discharge. She served as a Ministry

Intercessor Leader for P.O.P (Praying On Purpose), a virtual prayer

ministry until her transition. She was always about her father’s

business, whether she was bowling (which she loved and did for 50

plus years), catering food, serving at her beloved Son-In-Love’s

annual FedEx Basketball Tournaments, (where she left an indelible

mark) or at her church, Greater Macedonia Primitive Baptist, where

she served as an Intercessor, a member of Poised with Grace and

anywhere else she was needed. She loved her Pastor,Terrence and

Elect-Lady, Sarai Ford and served them faithfully. At any given time

she could be heard saying things like: “the Lord willing and says the

same”, “I believe the promises of God from Genesis to Revelation”,

and in the wake of trials and tribulations, “why not me?” She had an

infectious smile and was never found without it. Those who really

knew her, could not help but love her. She loved every one of her

siblings as if they were the only one. She will be sorely missed and left

behind to mourn: her Children,Tarionna Dotson (Gary), Edgar “Trey”

Copeland and Erika Copeland; her beloved Grands, Kendall, J’lah,

Kenyante, Tyler James, Isaiah, and Kaleb; Siblings, Glen, Bobbie,

Frank (Tracey), Eleanor, Lonnie (Marcie), Dennis, Denise, Cora, Doris

(Glenn), Fred (preceded in death) (Saundra), Joseph (Linda), Ernest

(Delois) and Edgar (Jacqueline) along with a host of Uncles, Aunts,

Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and special Friends.
