Myron David Ball, 91 years old, was born January 25, 1924, in Reading, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Albert and Sylvia Ball. His sister was Corrine Tabak. Dr. Ball is survived by his wife of 63 years, Kitzi (Francine) Ball, and their three sons, Andrew, Daniel and Michael. In addition, Dr. Ball has 6 grandchildren, Michelle Ball, Harrison Ball, Allison Herron, Steven Ball, Ariella Ball and Jonah Ball. He also is survived by many nephews and nieces.
Dr. Ball attended DePaul University and Columbia University for undergraduate studies before enlisting in the Navy in the 1940s. Upon completion of his military service, he studied at Temple University where he graduated as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. He moved to Dallas, Texas, in 1948 and opened a podiatry practice. He practiced for over 60 years, retiring when he was 88 years old. His life interests apart from family included writing three books, teaching metaphysics, acting, and tennis. Dr. Ball was known for his lifelong commitment to providing podiatry services to those who did not have access to medical care. Graveside will be 12:00pm Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, followed by a Memorial service at 1:00pm at Temple Emanu-El Sanctuary.
