On August 18, 1961 Nestora A. Gonzalez entered this world and was raised by Maria Del Refugio and Guadalupe Aguayo Ruiz. She has six sisters and four brothers that loved her very much. She spent most of her childhood in Mexico but grew up here in Texas during her young adult years. She attended TJ Rusk High School here in Dallas. She was a kind, loving, generous, and a caring person that was loved by many friends, relatives, and even strangers that just came across talking to her.
That was always her attitude. She took her work very seriously with hard work she came up fast to bigger and better positions with major responsibilities at different work places. Her latest job was a TEAM LEADER a true meaning of the words, at Neiman Marcus doing monograms for over 15 years.
In July 2010 doctors diagnosed her with breast cancer, but her attitude never changed as her symptoms and health constantly did for less that a year. She fought hard for 9 months and still made time to take care of her grandchildren, family, and friends with the same loving attitude regardless of the pain she felt inside.
I can still hear her beautiful voice as she would sing and dance spreading the word of how GOD is Grand and the incredible miracles he had blessed her with. On April 8, 2011 she received a call only she could answer and was born into eternal life, but her memories of joy and the love she showed will stay with us forever. Through her life she taught us many things like how to love one another by following Jesus' example. She gave her best advice on how your problems could be solved. If you were close to Nestora then you would know your problems were her problems. If you were happy she was happy for you. If you were sad she felt your sadness but would do anything she could to make you feel better.
The most important thing she taught us is to have faith in our LORD ALMIGHTY to the very last breath. Nestora we all love you and miss you but we will always remember the beautiful memories we had with you and the love you had for everyone.
Nestora is survived by her loving husband Ascencion Gonzalez Jr., his two sons: David and Oscar Gonzalez, his daughter Zulema G. De La Rosa and Nestora's own two sons: Juan Sergio and Danny Gonzalez and her daughter Daisy Gonzalez. Thirteen Grandchildren, Six sisters, four brothers, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and MANY close friends that to her were family as well.
NESTORA MAY YOUR BODY REST IN PEACE AND MAY YOUR SPIRIT FLY HIGH, HIGHER THAN THE HIGHEST MOUNTAINS, CLOUDS AND INTO THE BEAUTIFUL KINGDOM OF OUR LORD. WE ALL KNOW HE RECEIVES YOU WITH HIS ARMS WIDE OPEN. GOD BLESS YOU.
